School Field Trips
For a field trip experience unlike any other, bring your class, or even your entire school, to the Lacombe Corn Maze. Your students will experience hands-on learning about agriculture and rural Alberta as they wind their way through the 15-acre cornfield maze. Along their journey, students will use a passport that contains educational questions about agriculture. Contact us for further information about special rates and times and activities.
School field trips available by reservation Tuesday-Friday beginning at 9 am. Cost is $4 Grades K-6, and group pricing is in effect for grades 7-12. ($2 off general admission per person in groups of 20 or more) Teachers and administrators are free. You can download or view a sample info letter here. (76kb)
Please printout and utilize the following materials in your classroom in any way you feel appropriate. Then, it is our hope that you and your class will visit us and take agriculture out of the classroom and into the field!

Much of the information in the “Planting Seeds of Knowledge” education packet has been provided by the Utah Agriculture in the Classroom Program. For more information about AITC or to get your name added to their mailing list, visit their web site or contact them directly at (435) 797-1657.
Corporate Parties/Teambuilding
We’ve played host to many work groups seeking a teambuilding activity or escape from the busy office. You can book a tent or fire pit for your corporate picnic or do a Teambuilding Activity through the Maze. We have available a teambuilding self-facilitating guide, team basics, & a team passport by request or you can do your own unique teambuilding adventure.
Scouts/Guides4H
Scouts & Guides and 4H groups find the maze to be the perfect location to build unity and, in some cases, brush up on their orientation skills. The Maze makes a perfect place to have your start up meetings so book a fire pit for a picnic. We have Scouting, Guiding and 4H passports to help you get through the maze. We also have badges for the blankets that are Maze related selling for $2 each.
Youth & Church Groups
Come out to the Maze if your seeking a good source of “clean” fun and you can have a wonderful time around the fire pits afterwards (Please book the fire pits at the time of reservation.) We have a Youth pop Culture Passport plus a Bible one to test your knowledge of the Bible. Great place to have your start up meetings so book a time in the maze in the daylight or at night!
Birthday Parties
We’ve become a favourite destination for birthday parties as well. Why? Well there are lots of reasons, but our favourite theory is that birthday moms welcome the relief of losing the kids in the maze for a while.
Family Reunions/Weddings/Gatherings
The Maze makes a great place to meet with family and friends or maybe it’s a good place to lose some of your favorite relatives. Couples, unmarried and married, love to visit the maze on dates. Whether they stick together, split up and battle against each other for the quickest times, or create their own unique adventure (some have even come blindfolded!), they all share an experience they won’t soon forget. Whether it be husbands vs. wives, parents vs. kids, or even grandparents vs. grandkids, competitions for the best times through the maze are a regular favorite. Once you come out there are lots to do outside the maze so plan a picnic & come out and enjoy some good ol’ farmin’ fun!
Community Groups/Bus Tours/Etc.
Come out to the maze—it doesn’t matter what your age, it’s fun for all—both in the day and at night. We have plenty of parking and have room for buses and motor homes. Book your time at the maze today!
